I worked, came home. Making chipolte fried chicken with quinoa with cumin and peppers and jalapeno lime corn. I decided to adult and mowed the front yahd. When I finished, however, I stripped down to my undies (would have taken them off as well but it was (and is as I post) still daylight), hosed the dust and ick off with the hose pipe and jumped in the cee-mint pond. This was followed up with an ice cold beerverage OYKW brought out to me. BLISS! Now Iā€™m all showered and cleanded. **{{{BBBobbio}}}** I donā€™t know what to say except hope you can get that transplant soonest. ---

**Bobbio**. I have a question. I may be wrong, but livers can regenerate, right? So a person can donate part of a liver, and still live, correct? Of course thatā€™s assuming the donor and you have all the same blood type and other markers. Got anything exotic in your genetic makeup? Please forgive me if this is too squicky, but Iā€™m honestly curious. Having only one kidney myself, I do sometimes think about my own chances at living a longer life. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Iā€™m developing quite a list from the Dope. ---

My cousin had a liver transplant about 2-3 years ago, and life is pretty awesome for her now, compared to the years before. **swampy** , if you were in your skivvies, you were supposed to go do some dance at Mickey Dā€™s and report back! Spent an hour in a soccer meeting preparing for the tournament tomorrow. I have games at 0900, 1230 and 1800 and may take a fourth depending on how I feel. So early to bed for me tonight. ---

In a live donor procedure, 1 of the 3 lobes is taken from the donor to transplant. Fortunately, I have a full sister in excellent heath, and she is most likely an excellent match. My son is also willing, but he has only half of my genes. Actally, I am thinking of bribing the surgeon with lotsa baked goods to get me a cadaver liver and pancreas so the diabetes is whupped 2 for 1ā€¦ šŸ˜‰ ---

Weirdness - the pain in my arm is lessening, but it feels so weak! I was emptying the dishwasher this morning and putting things on upper shelves was a challenge. Things like drinking glasses! Very bizarre. But TGIF! I tel ya, these days, Iā€™m thinking long and hard about why I decided to go back to work. Contemplating a request to just work part time, or just retire for reals. Iā€™m sure the exhaustion from recent events is playing heavily into this, but manā€¦ At least Iā€™ve got a hot, humid weekend ahead. rah. Happy Firday! ---

Good Morninā€™ Yā€™all! Up and caffeinatinā€™. _YAWN_ ā€˜Tis 67 Amurrkin out and sunny with a predicted high of 94 and sunny for the day. The big plan is to mow the back yahd this morninā€™. Maybe by around nineish I can get started. 'Tis really wet out there right now. Possible cee-mint pond may also occur. Other than mowage I intend to slack the day away just cause I can. Happy Firday! Well not so happy, I was talking to my friend who irks nights and she said she had to take a call and would call me back. I fell back asleep (overslept and was late for irk) and missed her call back to tell me her mother just died. She was planning to have a party in July for her mom, who was coming up from GA? then. We had just been talking about it and she was saying how much she missed her mom, and I was looking forward to seeing her again. Today is also the one year anniversary of her MILā€™s death.
