I am so very tired of brain zaps, AND of no sex. TMI- I like sex. Like, A Lot. But following the biopsy it’s no sex for 7-14 days. It’s gotten OLD FAST. GGGRRRRR. ---

Tonight is going to be fun ☹ The son is hurting with an ear ache. He doesn’t want to go to the doctor, we’ll see how that works. I used to have ear drops that would kill the pain but they were used up long ago. The dog is not doing well tonight. He is doing that thing again where he jumps up and runs around yelping. He was doing so well with sleeping through the night, now this. I got some aspirin into him, hopefully that will help. Last time the vet couldn’t find anything wrong, and he got better on his own. I sat for a bit out front tonight, something I seldom do. Saw one of the neighbors give another one a talking to about running the stop sign on the corner. Good. There’s a lot of kids around here, people drive too fast already. Now if I can just catch the assholes who are throwing trash on the ground. If you can’t wank down the sidewalk without throwing trash on the ground then you shouldn’t be allowed out of the house without a leash. ---

**Batboy** , I had to read that sentence 3 times before I saw it! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!! Thanks for a morning laugh! I’ve been out of bed less than an hour, and so far I’ve tended to Higgs’ morning needs, scooped the cat box, cleaned and refilled the critters’ water fountain, and had some toast. I’m pretty sure \*\*FCD \*\*will want to go out for breakfast, so I won’t eat more than that for now. We need to stop for bread and PB on the way home. When I let the dog out, it was already mid-70s and muggy. It’s going to be an unpleasant day to do anything outside, other than maybe float in a pool. But we don’t have a pool, so we’ll likely stay inside. I had a strange dream last night and all I remember is that \*\*rosie \*\*was in it. I have a vague sense that I was ticked off in the dream because either she wanted me to do something I didn’t want to do or she wouldn’t do something she was supposed to do. At least it’s all vague. Before I retired, I had a dream about a coworker and I woke up furious at her - I was still angry when I got to the office! That was surreal, altho in reality, she did tend to tick me off more often than not. On the other hand, I don’t think \*\*rosie \*\*has ever ticked me off, especially since we never met IRL. Anyway, Happy Sunday!! Any volunteer to start us off tomorrow? ---

**Moooom** , you may have felt my headache. The DJ at the reunion failed to understand that we were all in our late 50s, and wanted to talk to each other, not shout. The music volume went to 11, and the bass beat even higher. My head hurts (the two drinks I had don’t count because they were hours apart and I ate food in between) ---

Even when I was a teen, I didn’t understand why music had to be so doggone loud at school dances. When my niece got married last year, the reception was in a nice, but small, venue and unless you went outside, it was impossible to have a conversation. I don’t know why my sister didn’t insist that the DJ take it down a few notches - I certainly would have. This has nothing to do with the whippersnappers on my lawn either! 😛 ---

That said, I had a very nice time. Some of the class hadn’t changed one iota, others I wouldn’t be able to pick out of a line up. Our name tags were our yearbook photos, which helped a great deal. There was interesting different food, although most of the hors d’oeuvres were fried, they did have this lovely little beef and goat cheese thing. I have a few of those. Even though I grew up in that town, I’d never been inside the catering hall. I’d never been invited to any bar/bat mitzvahs or weddings that were held there. So I figured first time for everything - I’ve never had a Manhattan either. It was an open bar, so I ordered one. It was okay, not something I’d order again (not a bourbon fan). The buffet dinner had some not-so-ordinary fare, though all I could tell you was the main ingredient: something with beef, something with chicken, something with salmon, and a pasta thing. It was all tasty, but I’d filled up on those beef & goat cheese things. 🙂 It was wonderful to see everyone, especially since several of them did not retain their youthful figures (I’m bad), although some had, amazingly well. At one point, a woman came up to me (I didn’t recognize her name or her yearbook photo) and said “I was very mean to you in grade school, and I’ve felt terrible about it, so I apologize” I thanked her, and we polite-hugged. But that made me feel pretty good. I even danced a little (well, spun the Jazzy on the dance floor for a bit). So, now, I’m looking forward to the 50th. I just hope the organizers have a long talk with the DJ first. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 72 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 94, mostly cloudy and a chance of rain this afternoon. We shall see. Today’s big plan is to deheathenate and I have ush duty. The “Canon of the Ordinary” from the diocesan office will be our Celebrant this mornin’. His title means “advisor to the Bishop” and is an administrate function of the Diocese. Anywho, I hope he stays in one place while he preaches. Last time he was Celebrant he roamed all over the church whilst preachin’. I need to clean up for church too. I had been intending to go to the early service and have more uninterrupted day afterwards, but the verger emailed a call for substitute chalists and I spoke up. Someone was sick, and another was out of town unexpectedly. So I’ll help at Communion at the 10:30 service instead. ---

Just finished not-quite half an hour in the garden, lopping down trees that refuse to die. They’ve all been cut down to ground level repeatedly, and they keep coming back. I don’t want to go all Agent Orange because other things are growing around them, so I’ll keep cutting them back till they give up or I die… It’s horridly humid out there. I’m done with outside chores for the day. Except for turning off the sprinkler - I’ll go out and do that when the timer beeps. ---

My MIL cracks me up. She just called to make sure our daughter wasn’t at that gay club in Orlando where the shooting happened. This is that same MIL who called when our daughter was on a cruise in the Caribbean and there was a hurricane developing - 1000 miles away.
