The jackasses at Itunes

Sorry. I was speaking of Itunes.

On the scale of bad things to happen to planet earth, I order them thusly:

  1. Cambrian extinction event
  2. iTunes
  3. Hitler

I have more computing power available to me than the entire world had a few decades ago. My computer would laugh at the computers that got us to the moon. And yet with all this power, it’s apparently a challenge to operate a media management program without bogging down.

I just got an iPod, and I want to add album art. The only way to do that is through the iTunes store. It says I have to register. Okay, no problem. So it then asks me for my credit card info. I don’t have a credit card, nor do I need to buy stuff from iTunes. Too bad! That’s the only way you can make an account is if you give them your credit card information!

Huh? No it isn’t. Find the art yourself on google image, click, “Get Info” on the song or album you want to add art for, and drag the picture into the “artwork” slot.

Oh.

Well, thanks for telling me.

IT JUST WORkS

Okay, so how do I make the changes to the artwork on the iTunes library go onto my iPod?

*sort of

Has always worked for me with a simple sync, with the exception of one album which somehow always refuses and I decided to let go.
BTW, myself, I’m one who never updates iTunes + QuickTime. I don’t need to, what I bought originally works just fine, Steve, really.
