In tonight’s game, in the mountains category, there was a picture of a saddle between two mountain peaks that looked fascinating, and beautiful. I just had to look it up to see where that was, and I found it: Sedlena Greda (or Saddle Mountain) in Durmitor National Park, Montenegro [https://is.gd/dKZTbj](https://is.gd/dKZTbj) \< web images Fantastic. According to an article at [goodhousekeeping.com](http://goodhousekeeping.com) (May 3, 2021) of all places: According to executive producer and previous guest host [Mike Richards](https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/life/entertainment/a35615924/who-is-mike-richards-jeopardy-host/), who recently spoke on [The Wall Street Journal’s podcast The Journal](https://www.wsj.com/podcasts/the-journal/the-jeopardy-showrunner-on-the-search-for-a-new-host/24f156b8-34c5-4c07-bf56-1f3868832950?mod=e2tw), a decision will be made before the next season of Jeopardy! begins taping in late July or early August. “…if on Friday it’s Alex’s last show and then Monday it’s a new person’s show, that would probably be unfair to the person stepping in to do it.” They are running focus groups. “We want to go at this with real analytics and real testing and not just go, ‘Hey, how about this guy?’ which is kind of how a lot of these decisions have been made historically.” Richards also said that there’s no leading contender for the permanent hosting position right now as testing continues. ---
