I still think it’s Star Trek fandom that’s Burton’s biggest supporter. They’re well known for flooding mailbags (electronic and otherwise) with petitions. ---

Just saw another Twitterer today call Burton “the obvious choice.” I ask again, did any of these people watch his episodes? He was terrible. And actual viewers agreed–his ratings were dead last among all the guest hosts! ---

Ratings are everything. If Burton came in dead last, no way would he be made permanent host, or (probably) be asked to guest host again. I don’t think we need worry about that. Neither Sony nor the affiliates that carry the show would stand for it. ---

Just finished watching Monday’s episode. I thought the FJ answer was tough. Never in a million years would I have remembered what movie it was from. I was amazed Tracy blew the first DD. She obviously has neither read the book nor seen the movie. 😄 My go-to answer is Martin van Buren. Even more obscure than William Howard Taft. 😆 ---

I saw the movie when it came out, but it’s never been a favorite of mine. De gustibus non disputandum est. Even if Tracy has not experienced that admittedly voluminous work of literature, how could she not have known during which war it’s set? 🙁 ---
