# The John Henson Project - I've got a bad feeling about this

I’ve been seeing commercials for this over the past week. If the commercial (John shows a guy how to drink out of a giant foam hand) is supposed to make me want to watch, it ain’t workin’.
I have the feeling that John shot his creative wad on Talk Soup. I recall the one skit he did in which he answered a viewer question on whether or not he like fried chicken. The following video was absolutely hilarious. Sick, but hilarious.

Was that the “Grandma’s Chicken Feet” sketch?
This new show won’t be diddly squat without references to Grandma’s Chicken Feet, with the song.

Oh god, I HATED John Henson with a burning passion when he was on _Talk Soup_.
I saw an ad for his new thing when I went to see ROTK. Why did they resurrect this beast? WHY?!?!

Other than hosting some of those “schedule filler” funny foreign commercials specials, I guess that development deal I read he had with ABC must not have panned out.
I like Henson, but the new programs on Spike TV have been pretty much a bust for me except for the perfect absurdity of MXC and it’s fun take on the _What’s Up Tiger Lily?_ gag.
The beer foam finger spot that I keep seeing is getting old quick.
I wish Skunk Boy well, but don’t hold out high hopes for the show.
