Actually, Ty, John got himself outed in his first few posts several months ago when he picked a fight with TubaDiva. He then wandered into Great Debates where he hung out espousing his peculiar brand of xenophobia for several months before he started acting up again (much as he posted for about six weeks as Optamissed without a problem). I probably wouldn’t be on this side of the fence had he simply acknowledged that he had been Cyb and then continued to post temperately (if oddly) in GD and MPSIMS. As long as he is not disruptive or dishonest, my attitude is let him post. Chasing him all over every Straight Dope Forum seems a bit heavy-handed, to me. (He did have a bit of a relapse with an anti-Jewish rant a few weeks ago, but he got himself under control.) Lately, of course, he has been getting weird, again, interrupting threads in GD with his fixation on Ms. Clinton’s physical attributes and his strident refusal to take responsibility for his identity. As far as I am concerned, as long as he takes the normal lumps of give-and-take in these fora (without whining about conspiracies) and as long as he does not lie about his identity, I see no good coming from trying to drive him from the boards. I would ask that no one try to get his AOL account terminated for anything he posts, here. This is a moderated site than can ban him on its own if he violates our rules. (It isn’t as if he could come back and we wouldn’t know it was him.) (It _would_ be interesting to copy his rantings out and send them to his psychiatrist. ::😏: 🙂 * * * Tom~ ---
