Back home again. We fetched Roxy, and when her mama got home, we ordered supper from Domino’s. All was ingested, and now we’re home, chilling. It’s still pouring - I thought the rain was supposed to be done by now. Dammit. Here’s hoping I get real sleep tonight… ---

While hubs was out, he bought me a couple of pots of carnations. (He rarely says he loves me, he never buys candy for Valentines day and usually forgets my birthday. He shows that he loves me all the time.) Of course GG had to see them, but when I bent a flower down towards his nose he pulled back so hard he fell off the chair. We both laughed. GG pouted for a couple of seconds before noticing a spot on the wall. ---

Sorted paper all day and managed to throw out (recycle) about a hundred pounds, I’m guessing, including all tax documents from before 2019. I made lumpia for dinner, using some ground beef I made from a flank steak, and a half pound of ground lamb from the freezer. Added green onions, shredded carrots and chopped cilantro and some curry powder. Not bad. ---

Howdy y’all. Happy birthday, **Alex Catt!** **Unknown** Where exactly is your cheese empire? Cuz I’d like to try some. Best wishes to overlyboy! It looks like the job will come in on schedule, but I’ll be working 7 days for the next few weeks. Things are getting normal-ish. I’m down 10 lbs over the past week and a half, cuz I forget to eat, even with reminders in the phone, had to go to the next notch on the belt. Also cuz I’ve been moving around things that are very large and heavy, like 8 foot square and 18" thick made from plywood, so like 250 lbs. But those are done, I only must move them once more. The rest of the stuff is strictly scenery, light weight and portable. I generally ignore the reminders, stupid I know. But I got a rotisserie chicken and will make dinner and sammies from that. As a side question, when you get a rotisserie chicken and bring it home…straight into the fridge if’n you’re not eating it right away? ---

I just got a call from my credit union’s credit card fraud department: someone got hold of my CC number. 🤬 I only have one CC and I use it for _everything_, and now I’ll be without it for 7-10 business days (= likely for the rest of the month). I can easily switch to cash/my debit card for one-off purchases, but I have a _bunch_ of automatic charges linked to my CC that I’m going to need to keep an eye out for. Definitely better safe than sorry, but what a pain in the butt. Have I mentioned 🤬 ? ---

Tisks at you. After all the nagging we did too! Maybe try putting a bag of granola in your pocket? It won’t spoil and you won’t really mind if it gets a little crushed while you are moving big things. Around here rotisserie chicken gets eaten as soon as it comes through the door and leftovers get put in the fridge afterwards. Only after getting COVID _and_ Delta, the dumbass. We are old. We had agreed that we wouldn’t get any more young cats. Hubs caught COVID and I bought GG cause I figured if I was going to be a widow, I would have the Maine Coon I always wanted. Plus GG was 2600 bucks, which was going to make hubs flinch anyhow. After hubs recovered from Omega, he refused to get jabbed because his amazing immune system would protect him for the rest of his life. He caught Delta 6 weeks later and I put a deposit down on another kitten. He got jabbed and promised to get his boosters. I gave up the deposit. Can you tell I’m still mad about the whole stupid thing? ---

I have the _Econ / sport_ options on my car too **unknown**. I found out that _Econ_ isn’t for highway driving and haven’t fully figured out the use of _Sport_’s two gears for it. **emily** :tacklehug: Long time no see! Glad overlyboy is coming out of surgery **wordy**. **VanGo** , usually, I make one meal from the rotissed chicken when it comes home, then package the rest for other things and put it in the fridge or freezer.
