Thanks everybody, and especially Dolores. Through these Feuds I am beginning to realize that I am really, really weird. Also, in an informal poll of EVERYONE I KNOW AND MEET, they all say “conch” too. Except the guy I have been dating recently. He said, “abalone.” He was suitably rewarded. 
Is conch considered a weird answer? I used it, too…why was it so surprising? It’s a shell, right?
Will someone explain the “conch” joke, please?
I’m a nitpicker – it’s Dicker and Dicker. (Porn film title idea: Dick her & Dick her in Beverly Hills, in which a game show contestant gets some exceedingly lovely parting gifts!)
Eleanor and Freudian: The whole point of the seashell question was that the person (brujaja, I believe) who included it in a previous game thought that it would produce a variety of answers. Instead, conch dominated, much to many Feud veterans’ continued amusement.

Freudian Slit: No, hon, don’t worry. It’s not you – it’s me. I am the only one who didn’t say, “conch”, I believe. And I was debating whether I should say “cowrie”, or “scallop” because of Shell Oil. Conch never even crossed my mind. They’re not from here, and you only ever see them in movies with loincloth guys on desert islands. I guess they’re the most impressive. (they must be, since apparently they get blown a whole lot.) 
I don’t think I said conch either. Didn’t even cross my mind. I’m going to find that thread.

I’m probably still bottom anyway, but “Sterling” is of course the proper name for “British Pound”, and should have been counted with those. There’s also a (weaker) case for grouping my “flares” with “bell-bottoms”. I know, I’m desperate :).
Actually, here in the States, “flares” and “bell bottoms” have become separate styles, bells being close to what they were in the 70s, and flares being mostly straight, but flared enough at the bottom to be comfortably worn over boots
