**Rosie** of course you have sympathy. However, the bigger question is how is Smokey copin’ with all this? 😃 Et the last of the sketties for **N.O.L.** No idea what dindin shall be. I am inclined towards stoppin’ at the sto’ on the way to da cave and buyin’ some deli stuff for sammiches to be eaten over the next coupla days. That sounds like a good, solid, sound and practical plan to me! ---

Just voted in the council elections, ain’t I good. Well… okay, I’m not that good- I totally forgot about it, but when me and the housemate came back from pottery class, there was a drunk guy pissing on the garden path. She remembered the election, so we decided to go vote rather than barge past him. It still counts, right? ---

Albuquerque got not one but two cold fronts in yesterday, which brought with them gusting winds (boy does that blow the dust and sand around!) and a considerable drop in temps! I had to close my bedroom window last night, but that was mostly due to the gustiness of the wind. _laughs_ I sleep better when it’s cooler, and before yesterday it had been rather warm (high 80s) here, so I slept good last night. Tomorrow, my daughter and I are off to the Whole Food market. Fortunately for us, our list this time is a short one. _laughs_ I can’t afford to give them any more of my retirement money, especially not as much as last time! Next week will include a foray to Walmart and a trip to the lab to have blood work done. Yuck! Hope everyone is having a good day and remember, tomorrow is **FIRDAY**! 🙂 ---

Mowage has been completed. On the plus side with it bein’ coolish out I didn’t break a sweat or get over heated. This does not mean, however, that a shower is not needed. Thus, showerage and sammichin’ shall soon commence. OYKW is chowin’ on a sammich as I post. Ok, off for post mowage purtification! ---

_ **I’m HOOOOOOOOOOOME!!** _😃 My little car is pack jammed full of plantage. I had a nice visit with my old HS friend - we talked for about 90 minutes and tentatively planned to do it again. I got the salt and 4 new fishies. Came home to \*\*FCD \*\*installing his new saddle bags - he also got chaps. I can’t leave him home alone anymore… 😛 Tomorrow, I’ll be in mud mode. The phlox definitely need to go in dirt, and I hope to get all the pachysandra planted also. The other things are in pots of dirt, so there’s no huge rush for them. I may borrow my sweetie’s back brace tomorrow - it couldn’t hurt. For now, I just need to chill. I hate driving home in rush hour. ugh. ---
