I was watching AC360 that night because, well, I was supposed to be on it. They came to my clinic and interviewed me earlier that day about how rolling back the Medicaid expansion could affect jobs in our region. The piece got bumped after the Comey news hit, much to the chagrin of my entire extended family. I wasn’t even mad about it, though, because it meant we got to see that virtuoso performance from Kellyanne. It’s always a pleasure to watch a true _artiste_ at work in her medium, and Conway is the Picasso of political turd-polishing. ---

As I saw on Twitter recently, every time Conway talks, she sounds like a cheating woman standing in front of the closet her lover is in, talking to the husband who came home early. ---

She does “that thing” with her hand going to her head all the time. That weird hair flip touch thing. She does some sort of weird creepy grin too. I think it’s some sort of “tell” that a real whopper is coming. ---

She can also breathe through her ears, and has no “gag reflex” whatsoever. The procedures she practiced to master such skills are open to speculation. ---

There’s an old Jewish legend/folk tale about the golem, an animate construct made of clay which is sort of a fantasy robot. In the legend, the golem is alive because there’s a bit of paper in its head upon which a very devout rabbi wrote the word “Emet”, meaning “truth”. Then the golem goes apeshit, as robots are wont to, and the rabbi has to end its life by rubbing off the first letter. The bit of paper now says “Met”, death, and the golem dies. I believe Kellyane Conway is, in fact, a golem. I mean, had you ever heard of her before she appeared as Trump’s campaign strategist ? No, no you hadn’t. That’s because Donald molded her out of raw sewage. And in her head he put a bit of paper that says “Whatever”. And lo, she will keep on saying whatever comes to mind no matter how obvious the lie is ; and she will keep on doing so until someone rubs off “ever” to form the word “What.” ; at which point she’ll not die but start spouting nonsense nobody can even comprehend how they even relate to whatever was being discussed. According to Anderson Cooper, it’s already happened. ---
