Ok, the subject explains it all. So any and all KITH fans need to post here!!! We have one person who has nominated Scott, and she will introduce herself and begin her campaign. I rarely find KITH funny. It’s just dumb “doesn’t make sense” humor. I never understood why saying something just completely ridiculous without any witty basis was supposed to be hilarious. Just my opinion… which happens to be the correct one 😉 The only thing I absolutely LOVE about KITH is, of course, Scott’s monologues. Buddy is great. “The best thing about Toronto is the FAGS!” ---

I do remember one sketch that was hilarious. It was this thing where these aliens were giving anal probes and one of them was asking why they always had to give anal probes. The other guy got pissed. I really liked that one. As a rule, Dave Foley and Scott Thompson are really funny. But I dont like Bruce too much, and Mark McKinney is inconsistently funny. This Cabbage-head nonsense is just retarded… ---

Cabbage Head is pretty crappy, I agree. And Mark is my least favorite of the bunch. better as a straight man. Bruce is insane, the sauages skit being one example of his intense insanity. Scott’s pretty funny. Dave is just awesome, and you forgot to say what good facial expressions Mark has, you DEMON!!! ---

Okay then, what’s with all the hoopla? If you don’t keep it down, I’ll have to confiscate your salt! Well, here’s my Speech for Scott. First, Scott is a frequent guest on Conan and is _always_ funny. (Did you see the night when Hefner was on with his twin girlfriends and Scott came out with his own set of twin honeys?!) Scott plays off Conan very well and would bring a lot to the show. Second, while I love all the boys dearly and want them to succeed, it’s high time this country had an openly gay person on a network show! And not some horrible sitcom with a gay character being “gay.” Scott would just be Scott. Conan has often stated that one of the goals of his show is to offend people - and I’m sure there’s some idiot, er, upright segment of his audience who would be delighted to take offense at a gay sidekick. You might be thinking, why should his sexuality have anything to do with this, and I put it to you - how many opportunities are there for openly gay people in American entertainment? Nathan Lane is filling that niche on Broadway, Harvey Fierstein has the movies spot and Richard Simmons has the infomercials. Ellen tried to get the TV one, but morons…er, I mean, righteous people managed to get rid of her (well, that and the writing stunk), but she still has a hold on the gay comedian franchise - so what else is left? Let’s give it to Scott! He needs the job. And 30 Helens agree with me. **FarrisG** , don’t you go dissin’ Brucio! I think he’s a brilliantly talented visual artist, as you can see in some of his little “dramas,” like the aforementioned Sausages film, or the one about the guy who quit school to make the “big bucks!” Or the one where Bruce is a scientist testing feet, or Mr. Mann and the wig shop, or the one, okay, stop me now. But he’s going into directing, which is where he should be, so I don’t think he’d want the job anyway. ---

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t…usually it doesn’t, but when it does, it’s wonderful. KITH does alot of spot-on satire, though, I guess you haven’t watched it that much. Favorite absurdity: The HeadCrusher Favorite sketch of all time: The Anal-probing Aliens. ASEYMAYO: are you nuts? Not about Scott, but your assessment of the openly gay is about 2 decades old. The MOVIE spot is being held, quite firmly and well, by RUPERT EVERETT. Jeez. (And among the closeted: Kevin Spacey is the biggest and most talented star of all). As for who should sit by Conan…Dave is too dry. Conan needs a goof. Scott would be overbearing. Kevin I hate (He just creeps me out). So I guess that leaves the funny-lookin’ little guy. ---

Oh, and P.S.: There are 5 kids in the hall!! Bruce is now a director, so he couldn’t do it, and Mark isn’t funny enough. Dave actually has a career, as well as Scott. I think I would choose Kevin because I pity him, but Scott would do well. Although, maybe Scott needs his own talk show!! ---
