You know you’re in trouble when Al Sharpton is distancing himself form you! **Jodi** nailed it. This guy’s done NOTHING to help black causes and people, but now he wants to be a martyr for the cause. Maybe if he accused the record industry of being biased against…uhhhhh…bleached plastic mannequins whose faces have been belt-sanded off he’d have a case. ---

I resent the suggestion that MJ looks like a woman. As a woman I find this comment highly offensive. That guys looks more like an alien from a B movie. Now that Tommy Mottola married Thalia (a Mexican), should Latin Americans be afraid to be next in his “devilish” plans? I agree, Jacko is wacko. I think that **Jodi** is totally right. The guy has tried to distance himself from the black community. I am black, I live in a country with great tolerance, so I hang out with people, it doesn’t really matter what colour they are. But in Jacko’s case it is OBVIOUS that he has few or no black friends (Diana Ross?). Does anyone remember the mother of his kids? ---

He supposedly has donated money to black causes, like UNCF. Many celebrities don’t make a big announcement when they donate money, so I don’t know if we can come down on him in that regard. That said, I think he gave up his Negro card when he started bleaching his skin white and fucking with his nose. He can have it back if he confesses his sins and comes back from the wilderness. And he must stop dying his kids’ hair blond. ---

We are talking about the man whose contract requires that he be introduced as the “King of Pop”. Let us not forget, this album that was such a huge disappointment sold over two million copies. I’m not sure how many it eventually sold; the article talks about how it took 28 weeks to sell that many, when Eminem did it in two weeks. To Mr. King of Pop, this _clearly_ indicates racism on the part of the record industry. To those of us with our heads out of our ass, this only reinforces the obvious–Eminem is hot, MJ is not. Face it, man–even those of us who owned _Thriller_ on vinyl (my very first album, in fact) have long since gotten over it. Dr. J ---

I blame MTV. When _Thriller_ (the video) came out and wowed everyone, it kicked his ego into high gear. Everybody just HAD to work with him. The downward spiral began. ---

Anyone seen her lately? What’s her nose look like? c)My son, 4, saw MJ on TV and asked straight away, " What’s wrong with his nose?" If a little kid can see this and MJ cannot, it is clear who is delusional. d) I tend to think of MJ as Mike Tyson’s big brother. Unhinged, decidedly wimpy ( to the animalistic brutality of MT) odd and freakish. The voices are similar in their wussiness pitch, but I’d never say that to MT. It is like the only attention they can give themselves is negative. Combined, they are a brutal car accident that no one can resist watching. e) The Spice Girls, whom I think we can all agree on they are the evil incarnate, have more appeal to the masses of teenie boppers than MJ, and, if they released a new album (OH GREAT GODDESS/GOD/BUDDHA/ALLAH NO!) it would outsell MJ’s latest effort, because MJ’s latest effort is out of touch with the teen ear. f) this space left blank intentionally. ---
