Howard Stern is the self-appointed **King of All Media** , which I guess would include permutations of rock & roll. ---

I’ve heard Pete Townsend referred to as the Godfather of Punk, but I think that’s because of a song from Quadrophenia. A local DJ here used to call himself the Ayatollah of Rock-and-Rolla. ---
