Saw it tonight and it was wonderful. Quiet, cold, and ultimately very moving.

Did anyone else notice that the Theater Director who rejects Geoffrey Rush was [Mr Colins](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0051394/)?

Yep for me too. He also played Hitler in _Valkyrie_ (in which, ironically enough, Tom Hollander, who played Mr. Collins in the 2005 _Pride & Prejudice_ played one of his aides - so there were _two_ former Mr. Collinses, both playing Nazis!).

Best Actor and Best Picture. Seems pretty reasonable.

He played a character with a stammer in the movie _Dead Again_ as well.

I’d totally forgotten he was Mr Collins - I recognized him as Cicero from the series Rome.

I enjoyed King’s Speech, but I dunno if it was definitively better than any of the other nominees. But it was very “British,” I suppose, and Hollywood seems to like that sort of thing.
