I’m sure they’ll do the daft thing. I spent too many years working for a K-Mart subsidiary to believe otherwise.
The last time I tried to buy clothes in a Super K, I went to the fitting rooms to find only a messy pile of clothes on the counter and the doors locked. I waited a minute and looked for anyone who looked like an employee, and then I just added to the pile. I went to the Target about 200 yards down the street.
It’s sad because I’ve watched Kmart grow from a respectable store to something that makes me WANT to go to Odd lots. Would hate to see Sears go the same route. I can remember when K-mart was clean and well stocked. Not much different from Walmart today.
Sears is one of the few places I can still go and buy something made in the US.
