Danny Thomas (the other one) popularized the “spit take” on T.V. _Dave_ Thomas is not Danny’s brother. Dave Thomas (the founder of Wendy’s) is not related to either the other Dave or Danny. -Rue. ---

Danny Thomas’s daughter Marlo starred in the TV show “That Girl” The villain in the movie Shrek, supposedly modeled after and bearing some resemblance to Disney chief Michael Eisner, is named Farquaad, which is reportedly some form of subtle insult. But gosh, it’s too subtle for me to find it. O-Town’s first single, “Liquid Dreams”, is also apparently a subtle reference to something, but I can’t quite figure that one out either. :rolleyes: ---

Marlo Thomas is married to Phil Donahue. Walt Disney is reputed to have been cryogenically preserved. Liquid Sky is a surreal 1982 movie that is roughly about aliens that come to earth and then use a chemical produced during orgasm as a heroin substitute. The target market for this film seems to have been drug users, who oh-so-rarely are seen as a target market. ---

Farquaad = Fuckwad, **jr8**. **jr8** ’s name reminds me of the word “great.” “They’re grrreat!” is Tony the Tiger’s catch phrase. Tony the Tiger is voiced by Thurl Ravenscroft. Thurl Ravenscroft is also the singing voice we hear in the 1966 Dr. Seuss/Chuck Jones classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” ---

Here’s a tasty recipe for ground beef: Ground beef Onion Tomato Garlic Green pepper Cooked macaroni Chop vegetables and saute in butter or olive oil. Add ground beef and cook until done. Stir in macaroni. In Maine, this is called American Chop Suey. ---
