# The lady with the noxious blood

A while back, there was a report about a woman who was brought into the ER for a complaint that eventually necessitated an incision being made. When she began to bleed, her blood began to outgas some very noxious fumes that resulted in the ER being cleared because nobody could breathe. I remember this was an actual news report around 1993-94 or thereabouts.

Whatever happened with that? I heard very few followup reports except something about an unusual prescription drug interaction. I couldn’t find it on Google. One would think if a drug were turning people into WMD’s we’d have heard a little more about it.
