On the level, the last in-person DopeFest I had attended (not including [this one](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/dopefest-11-sw-afghanistan/583416)) set up reservations at a restaurant under the name “Cecil Adams.” all you gad to do was show up, tell the host the name, and they would escort you to the group.
