If I were a cat, it’d be the latter… :eek: Celine Dion walks in to a bar. The bartender says, “Why the long face?” HAH! I crack me up. I have applied for three state jobs today. Dang those apps are looooooooong! If it makes any of youse in the northern climes feel any better, it is cooooold outside. Well, cold for south Jawja. Temps in the forties, cloudy and windy. Those “No Snow or Ice” signs are still workin’ fine though. **FCM** celebrate Valentine’s the way we do. Go shoppin’ for cheap chocolate. Fun times! ---

I saw on CNN this morning you can order a tawdry romance novel starring yourself and a significant other. They’ll even put your picture on the back. They were reading parts out loud – they’d ordered one with two of the hosts’ names. It was so hysterical. I’m going to look it up and get one for next year. ---

Is your district in school? What is wrong with the[del] pussies[/del] wimps at my school district? I just came back from running errands–there is no reason to not have school, dammit! \ Dunno why I’m so grumpy these days…oh, yeah-- I DO KNOW. I have a houseful of 8 year olds, full of snow and melty things. And a Handyman who is listening to god knows what radio station. Never heard so much Elvis in my life… I want a drink. I wish I drank! ---

Whenever I see Celine Dion, I often have the urge to defecate, and anything sporting her likeness would make me want to throw it out. I see no reason why cats should feel differently. HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!! First off, I need to relate the keeyoootest tale. The Son is still “going steady” with his very first girlfriend. He bought some chocolate covered fortune cookies for her, but forgot to buy her a card. Since she liked the card I gave him from my stash of fairy cards (they are blank inside, and really very pretty) for her birthday, I gave him another for today. After he wrote in it I wanted to see, and he always shares with his mama. He had written “I hope that you like these, (cookies) I hear that they are almost as sweet as you are.” How sweet is that? I awww’ed over it, and he blushed furiously, but had a grin on his face bright enough to light up my heart! **Nava** I love it when you post in Spanish. Once upon a time I was fairly fluent, now I have lost most of my vocabulary and my conjugation of verbs is non existant, but I speak your written Spanish aloud just to keep in practice! And the bit about eyes is cute! I’m gonna have to share it with my brown eyed daughter who is infatuated with blue eyes. Skiffman’s eyes are so dark that his pupils and irisis are indistiguishable. Oh, and **spicy** no worries, we are back down to 33 degrees and snow is in today’s forecast. We will get dumped on at least a couple more times before winter is over. Yesterday was an exceptionally beautiful day though, and gave me a chance to open the windows and air the house out! hehehe **swampy** , I just knew that you would appreciate the photo of the flower buds of deliciousness, I intend to try growing at least one plant this year, they are so funky looking while they are growing, and the picking season lasts a long time. I am in the minority in my household, when I want brusseles sprouts I have to prepare a different veg for the rest of the family. Feel better **rosieposie** , and know that you are not alone. I am not feeling too _perky_ with the rapidly changing weather. It’s tea, some decongestant and the heating pad in bed as soon as I am done here. Sucks about the depo withdrawal, both my older two girls have used it, and everytime they decide to go off of it, whoa, the hormones are all weird for a while. This post is to inform you all that I am a winner! I win at the game of homework. See, my quantum mechanics TA marked off 8 points on this one problem for getting two of the answers “wrong.” But I knew that they were correct, and so did the professor. The confusion was that I had used a slightly different variable, so my answer _looked_ different. It took me about five minutes to demonstrate that the two expressions (mine and the accepted answer) were exactly equivalent. And now I have a 95/100 instead of 87. Go me! **FCM** , your new car is purdy. ---

It’ll keep him awake for the budget meeting! I need a nap. That’s what I need… Have homework I have to “go to” tonight. I have to “observe teens in a natural setting”. (I feel like Jane Goodall). And then I have to interact or watch some version of media aimed at teens. Then I write a 6 page paper of the above. Envy me! ---
