I could use some cookies about now. I’ll have to be satisfied with Entenmann’s brownie bites. Not the best but they will do. I called the CU and for whatever reason my first payment was rejected but nobody has any idea why. They are supposed to get back to me within 3 days. I’m glad I made a second payment before the due date or I would have a missed payment. I’m trying to build credit here, not destroy it. It pisses me off that I have to follow behind on things and make sure they get done properly. Now I can’t look at my credit card online because firefox doesn’t support flash, and when I try to use chrome it won’t work and IE tells me I’m not allowed access to that page. That this comes right on the heels of the CU telling me there was a problem with my truck title and I needed to contact the previous lender, and _THEY_ were the previous lender is not giving me a lot of faith/trust in the CU. I know I’m anal because every time I pay a bill I check my account to make sure the money is taken out and the bill to make sure the money has been credited correctly, even the automatic payment ones. But damn, you almost have to be anal anymore - you can’t trust anybody to get it right. You bet **Stainless** , I’ll be checking with a third, and probably a fourth and a fifth. First I have to dig my copy of the papers out of the closet. But first - some lunch. My friends tell me the way I eat, and forget to eat, I should be a stick. Tell it to my body because it sure isn’t getting the message. Whoever thought that **FCM** would have a _crush_!!! ---

Refi if you want, but run, don’t walk away from this shyster. My 2¢. ---

The first statement is _MOSTLY_ true. What isn’t is that dropping PMI after you’ve paid off 20% of the principle is automatic. You have to initiate the paperwork to drop PMI. Also, you can miss payments and still do this if you are current on the loan and can demonstrate a hardship that caused you to miss (usually medical bills or short term unemployment). ---

Looks like the re-fi guy was right, FHA did change the rules. So now I have some thinking to do. I feel like PMI is pissing away money, why does everything have to be a headache? We’ll see what the re-fi man has to offer. Always pay with cash. So many get caught because they used a credit card. I ever saw on TV that one lady wrote a check to the hit man. ---
