:eek: I had no idea that anyone else had done a blues version of The Letter.

According to Wikipedia:

Ranked by Rolling Stone at #363 on the magazine’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, “The Letter” was reported in July 1979 to have been recorded in over 200 different versions

I wish I could remember the band name, but the guitarist in a blues band I was in about 5 years ago proposed a cover of this song as done by some blues band and it was hot. If I can dig it up I’ll post it later.

He sounded younger as he aged. I didn’t know they were the same guy.
