When I was in Popular Science, I got approximately eleventy bojillion orders. When I was in The Oakland Press, I got 1.

HowStuffWorks got me about 4.

This may be the cause of my rather subdued enthusiasm.

Since what I sell is the kits to build something yourself and not a pre-built thingiedoo, it’s not really Etsy’s type of thing.

I think the problem is that anybody who would ever want one has already heard about it and gotten one.

That is exactly Etsy’s type of thing. You can sell handcrafted stuff on there, of course, but there are also a lot of different kits for do-it-yourself projects.
