I think of you as a guy I’d like to have a beer with and if I need a laugh, I know you would be there to provide it, just as you are doing here on SDMB. I love reading your stories, and I thank you for making me feel better when I have had a bad day. I also thank you for being there for me when **I** have had troubles, and I wish the best for you and your bride, always. I’ve said it before, I used to think my sense of humor was sophisticated. I could appreciate subtle plays on words, clever parodies, and so on. But some of the threads I have laughed at the hardest are those **lieu** has started, the toilet humor. On reading the OP of “Mister, does the hurricane center name your farts?” my sides actually hurt, as I found it hard to stop howling with laughter. ---

How incredibly nice. I left three minutes before this was posted yesterday and am sorry that I almost missed it. Awhile ago the cafeteria workers downstairs were laughing at me because I’d looked at my watch wrong and was standing outside their closed doors at 10:30, wondering why I was the only one ready for lunch. Not feeling real good about myself, this was a welcome pick me up. Thing about this board is that it’s impossible not to take away many times the value of any contribution you might ever make.
