# The lil' Bastard is gone

We have been dog-sitting for niece on and off for about a year. Several months back, she broke up with her boyfriend and came to live with us. Just before she did, she bought an obnoxious Frenchy pup.

We had heard about him. She was keeping him with her at a hotel, The hotel regrets this. This dog chews, farts, shits and vomits with reckless abandon.

He came to our house as little whirlwind of puppy activity, running and attacking our two older big dogs as well as the niece’s other dog. The niece, being a twenty something girl, spent little time with us, so we have all the dogs 24/7.

We finally got him eating a regular diet on a regular schedule, so he stopped the monstrous diarrhea. He started gaining weight, started to look a little muscular.

He runs the other dogs ragged, then jumps in my lap. I have to come to wearing a band aid across my nose, because he le launches himself into my face and draws blood. Then he fall asleep like someone flipped a power switch. He starts back up full speed in the blink of an eye.

He started sleeping on our bed with the other dogs, and the other dogs finally accepted this. They play with him constantly, because he demands it.

And then…we had to kick the niece out. She started getting loaded and hanging out with unvaccinated people, the only thing we told her she could NOT do.

She went back to her boyfriend and took the little Bastard with her. he is gone.

Fuck, we miss him.

When she left, I offered to take both dogs. I made the case that they were thriving and needed stability. She said she would bring them back if they were having trouble.
