Oh, no worries. She’s eating meat again. She just had chicken quesadilla for lunch.  
She does like lots of cheese, tho’

Did he only eat rennet-free cheese?

I used to work with a woman who had been a vegetarian since childhood, when she found out what meat really was, and I for one was not going to tell her about rennet, or that the Yoplait yogurt she had for lunch every day contained gelatin, which is also made from dead animals.

Ha, I don’t think he did. He knew, but wasn’t really vegetarian for ethical reasons rather than just because he didn’t like meat much. Rennet was probably one of those things he deemed acceptable since he didn’t have to see it.
