The lil’wrekker. What can I say? Beautiful, sweet, smart. A tiny little package of dynamite. But the girl won’t quit. She lurves her some Christmas. Alot! She’s texted me everyday since Thanksgiving wanting to know how many presents under the tree are for her. She’s 21yo. Really!? I have a big bunch of people to buy for. 3 kids, their SOs, 4 grandwreks. Extended family. Pets. I’ve bought each set of grandkids Trampolines. I’m still putting little gifts under the tree for them. We have a big gift opening Christmas eve. I can’t stand the idea of them not having much to open. The lil’wrekker is determined to have the most gifts. She asked me this morning. I said the same number I have for 3 days. She harumphed me. I told her I was shopping this afternoon. She got happy again. Yep. I’ve created a monster. A cute, smart loving monster. But a monster, none-the-less. ---

She’s definitely getting the mystery gift this year. I always have one gift there’s no nametag or any association with any one. Sort of a ‘anybody’ gift. It’s gotta be a good gag type thing. Hmmmm? Gotta study on this. ---

Beck you need to learn crochet. Gives you something to do waiting at clinic visits. By Christmas you have a nice stack of presents for the relatives. Here’s a list of ideas. I agree. Wow! She’s a hot mess. I told her big Sister and Brother (well, his wife) she’s calling about present numbers. Both called me and said to add their presents to her to the count. They’ve both got a few things wrapped up for her. I’m not alone in spoiling this girl. And, this is the big thing…she’s very pleasant and sweet about it. A person gets many hugs, thank-yous for the merest little thing. You can’t help but love her and want to do nice things for her. She’s just that person. At breakfast Mr.Wrekker told me to make a list for him…SURPRIZE!!!..He’s going shopping. I nearly fainted. This oughta be fun! ETA: oh she’s getting pistachios!! ---

The lil’wrekker will be in tomorrow for her Christmas break. I predict a dizzying array of parties, visiting friends and shopping trips. She’s going to sing with her old Choral group at a Christmas shop crawl on a Town square, near us, Saturday evening. My house will be busy and alive for a couple of weeks. All her gifts are wrapped. Whatever the count is that’s where it’s staying. I’m getting alittle excited. ---

My only child, son age 24, can’t come home this Christmas, for the first time ever. There have been tears. Have fun! 🙂
