the Limits of Turbotax or, Do I Need an Accountant?

I’ve used the web version of TurboTax. It can handle all the situations you mentioned, except possibly the dual-state thing.

If you’re interested in using the web version (it’s less expensive), make sure to check if it can do multiple states. I moved in 2000 and got all the way through federal and one state before I figured out it wouldn’t let me do the other. It suggested I buy the software for the state. However, the purchased state tax one wouldn’t import the federal information from the web version.

So, what I’m saying is just buy TurboTax or TaxCut.
