OK, since this seems to be movie lines week on the SDMB… We’ve covered the best lines, we’ve covered the worst lines, now, What is the line that summed up the whole movie for you? For me it was- _The Star Wars Trilogy_ “I have a bad feeling about this.” probably the most overused line in motion picture history. _Network_ the expression on Faye Dunaway’s face after being told “We are talking about putting a patently irresponsible man on national television!” _Carnosaur_ “Peace, green brother.” Delivered by a man who was seconds away from being eaten by a large, carnivorous lizard… _The Outlaw Josey Wales_ " We thought about what these words meant, ‘endeavor to persevere.’ When we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the Union." _Videodrome_ “It always helps to take the casette out.” Truer words were never spoken. _The Fugitive_ “I have five very unhappy dead people down here.” Anybody else want to throw in? ---

Ripley to the alien queen, in Aliens: “Get away from her, you _BITCH_!” The whole series was about a woman finding empowerment. It comes down to the quintessential chickfight. Robert Duvall’s character in Apocalypse Now: “I love the smell of napalm in the morning. It smells like… victory.” Strange values. In the same movie: “Terminate with extreme prejudice.” The ultimate in doublespeak. Ferris Bueller: “How can I be expected to go to school on a day like this?” and “Life moves pretty fast. If you’re not paying attention, you might miss it.” Words to live by. ---
