Applesauce Resonator Hard drive sock penguin alfalfa jelly roll RolexTM bookshelf gangrene canoe wheelbarrow barracuda pedestal tube androgynous So there’s the list. I find it every few months when I clean my room, and it’s so puzzling that I never throw it out. My guess is that it’s between 3 and 5 years old. I have no idea what this list was for! At first glance it looks like a shopping list, but since I’ve never in my life desired either a resonator or gangrene, and not to mention it’s hard to buy androgynous, I don’t think that was the point. Perhaps when I’ve lost my marbles some decades hence, the point of this list will be a crystal memory, but until then we can speculate. So, what do you think it is a list of/for? ---

There are some homonymic connections–jelly roll:RolexTM, wheelbarrow:barracuda, i.e., the ending of one word sounds like the beginning of the next. Perhaps a weird word puzzle? ---
