Can I volunteer for the next empty slot, whenever that may be? I really need to write more - I’ve become so lazy about my personal writing, and being responsible for an MMP will force me to get off my ass and produce something. ---

We had an early, yummerrific supper - rotissed beef, steamed broccoli, boiled \*\*N.O.T.\*\*s - but no dessert. Mebbe I’ll take my sweetie out for ice cream - is that dumb when it’s in the 30s outside?? I did 4 loads of laundry, and I have at least 3 more to go - maybe tomorrow. I emptied and refilled the dishwasher. But that’s pretty much all I did. I’m so ashamed of being a bum. Or not. No, definitely not. I don’t think I like having only 2 days for a weekend. It does not please me. ---

More divorce ugliness here. We went to my place to see the puppies and somewhere along the way, my mom ended up in tears, I ended up in tears and my dad ended up mad at both me and my mom. I just sent my dad an email explaining what the _real_ things are that bother me, not just the straws that broke the camel’s back from earlier today. I probably should have confronted him in person, but I didn’t and I’ll have to deal with the consequences. TVMan is upstairs napping and I just got out of a long, hot shower which I thought would make me feel better, but didn’t. I think I’ll go wake him up. ---

Okay, I’m jealous **Swampy.** You _have_ to come up here now. Just imagine, you could see Mt. Rainier in all it’s snowy glory, well, if the clouds part enough. Nothing much accomplished; some laundry, some picking up, and early dinner from KFC. Works for me! I don’t want to go back to work tomorrow. Noooooo! The weekend was far too short. At least this coming Friday is my RDO. However, I’ll be birthday shopping for my son. He’s turning 15. We’re going to take him to a Japanese steak house for dinner. That’s where he wants to go, so that’s where we shall take him. 🙂 My son gave some good ideas for presents, so I’ll spread them out between his birthday and Christmas, along with the other stuff he wants. It should work out, I hope. Guess I’ll scan the paper for a bit. ---
