# The Lost Weekend

I just spent the best part of the weekend installing drapes in the living room, dining room, and three bedrooms. My back hurts, my feet hurt, my knees hurt and I have no money left because drapes and their damned double draw rods cost lots of money. And so do the damned valance rods; not to mention the valances themselves.

Marcie is very pleased with the way her house looks. She told me so and that makes it all worth while.

So where’s the story about how you couldn’t find your liquor and you hallucinated a bat flying around and then you finally found a hidden bottle of hooch in the light fixture?
