[The Lying Whore Thread of **many, many, many** posts.](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=366822&highlight=lying+whore) What’s new with the Lying Whore and the Duke Lacrosse team? I haven’t seen any report of the charges being dropped. Doesn’t get quite the publicity here in New England that it does in some other parts of the country so I was just wondering. Mods, I put this in the Pit only cause the original thread was here, move it if appropriate. ---

Nifong plus attorney was on Today show today assuring folks (well, the attorney was anyhow) that while his motives were/are pure and untainted, Nifong probably would have acted differently, in hindsite, not that he did anything wrong, you understand. The attorney who took over the Duke case is ‘still reviewing’. Nifong’s fate will come in a few months. ---
