There was a hilarious moment on _Morning Joe_ where they showed a split screen of Lindsey Graham begging for donations and Jimmy Swaggart delivering his “I have sinned!” speech. The resemblance was uncanny (though a closer, if less visually compelling, comparison would be Oral Roberts’ “God will call me home if you don’t send money” stunt). _Edit:_ Belatedly checked the link, which leads to a similar _Morning Joe_ commentary… ---
