# The magnets made me do it!

I was just reading [this](http://io9.com/5649367/you-can-switch-from-right+handed-to-left+handed-through-the-power-of-magnets) article in which magnetic stimulation of a portion of the brain caused patients to change their habits slightly. Apparently, it affected the way the brain went about ‘solving’ simple problems or decisions, at the sub-conscious level.

I think this is very exciting. Surely I’m not the only one who also finds it a bit scary?
