[Three Baby Elephants Due at St. Louis Zoo](http://www.stlzoo.org/events/calendarofevents/thezooiselephanticipating/gettingreadyforbaby.htm) This dude’s got it made - 12 years old and he’s been knockin boots left and right. The child-support payments will be a bitch though. The news here in STL has been giving this plenty of pub recently. Apparently Raja will be an absentee father - he still likes to play rough (after all, he is only 12) so his contact w the kiddies will be very limited. ---

Unfortunately, this story has taken a sad turn. The baby elephant has apparently died in the womb (according to local news tonite, I’ll try to find a link tomorrow). As there is no way to perform any kind of Cesarian on an elephant, she will have to ‘pass’ the deceased calf in due time. ☹☹☹ ---
