To be fair, active energetic giant carnivores have been pretty standard features on both Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett. Maybe we can get Boba on his Rankor fighting alongside the Mandalorian ptero-dragon riders as Grogu’s personal bodyguards. At least until Grogu masters the Dark Saber and leads the clan into battle riding the Mythosaur. ---

As soon as the mother (or father I suppose) got eaten I thought “great - they created some orphans, now what?” I was pleased they adopted the foundlings, but training them is going to be interesting. I’m not convinced Bo Katan isn’t just playing along, but I think seeing the Mythosaur did effect her. Brian ---

Definitely a few WTF moments in this one, starting with: “Don’t shoot it - the best plan is to follow it back to its nest.” [30 seconds later] “Yeah, this plan never works.” THEN WHY THE FUCK DID YOU SUGGEST IT? Also - exactly how long was that kid living in the space dragon’s gullet? ---

My favorite ones were the two firing their flamethrower at each other and the fire just canceling out like it was a Dragon Ball Z blast. ---

Yeah, the “training” scenes were far, FAR more comical than they thought they were. All it would take is adding Yakety Sax as a soundtrack to make it a comedy. It actually helped to reset my expectation level. Everyone will be disappointed by the end of the season if this is the level of writing they’re bringing to the show. ---

This season has made it clear that they definitely should have left Grogu with Luke, never shown him or Luke again, and moved on. I feel like Disney almost certainly pressured them to bring back baby-Yoda and continue the storyline even though they allowed the show-writers to end his storyline in a dramatic and natural way. I mean, it was a painful decision for Mando to hand off Grogu to Luke and I think that while it was difficult and the future would be unknown, it was wise and the best decision in the moment for him. I kind of hate that they undid it during the Boba Fett show and now we have to keep going with this. It was a chance for Mando to move on to other things. ---
