Maple glaze, right? That’s my go-to donut order. I only have them 2-3 times a year, but you’re right that they’re the best. ---

I always get a maple bar, because there’s more maple donut goodness. It’s been my favorite since I was a kid. ---

Ehh. Maple donuts are wonderful, but any donut that’s not filled shouldn’t even bother. Bavarian cream is my first choice; then lemon jelly, followed by raspberry jam (WITH the seeds). ETA: if you fill it with bacon, you still have room for the maple glaze. ---

Had a bizarre one the other day. Someone brought them to work. Chocolate frosting that had a crumbled up Butter Finger bar sprinkled into it. It was wonderful. ---

I am a hardcore maple maniac, but cake doughnuts are superior to raised, and that maple glaze isn’t generally made with real maple anyway. ---
