Well, well, well, we are now half-way through the Sitcom March Madness tourney, and it’s getting very interesting. We had some big dogs fall in the last round, and some other big dogs take a bite out of some metaphoric ass. But, for better or worse, I give you now what could be described as the eight Least Objectionable Sitcoms Evar! The Elite 8. But we aren’t stopping here, though. Nosireebob. Frasier vs. News Radio Voting for Round 4, as in previous rounds, will be open for 22 hours. You can vote from 10pm EST Sunday, March 26 until 8pm EST on Monday, March 27. ---

Each of these is really tricky, because… I. The Dick Van Dyke Show vs. **The Mary Tyler Moore Show** …I’ve seen exactly one episode of each one. From what I recall, MTM was better. II. MASH vs. **Cheers** …I love both. My gut says MASH, but having seen some reruns of both lately, Cheers holds up better. III. Seinfeld vs. **The Simpsons** …as much as I love Seinfeld, there hasn’t been a point in this entire contest where it wasn’t obvious The Simpsons are winning the whole thing. There’s just no way that won’t happen. IV. Frasier vs. **News Radio** …they’re both good, but NR was more _consistently_ good. ---
