Episode 1’s six performers: [ol] [li]Turtle[/li][li]Llama[/li][li]White Tiger[/li][li]Kangaroo[/li][li]Miss Monster[/li][li]Robot[/li][/ol] I think maybe Turtle is a former boy-band member, perhaps Jordan Knight. Anyone else have some guesses? ---

Chaka Khan is a good guess. I did feel like it was an older woman. She barely seemed able to move in that unfortunate costume. ---

I saw it last night, and couldn’t come up with a single guess, or narrow things down beyond, “Well, that one’s definitely female.” :smack: And then the one who was unmasked, yes, that was a famous person, but I’ve only ever known him as the originator of a catchphrase. Seriously, I don’t think I ever laid eyes on him before. Platinum albums, you say? ---

White Tiger as an athlete makes sense. He can’t really sing very well, but he could dance, it seemed like. I couldn’t really take a guess. Not being a big fan of recent rap music, I was only passably familiar with Lil Wayne. I recognized him when unmasked, but never would have identified him by his singing voice. ---

Llama: With the Seattle connection, I was thinking Russel Wilson Kangaroo : Iggy Azalea or Keisha Miss Monster : Dionne Warwick , but Chaka is a great guess too ---

I am also amazed that White Tiger wasn’t toast this week. I agree, Gronk is a very good guess. I still think Miss Monster is Chaka Khan, especially after the bit about how she’s close to royalty, a queen, etc. Her last name, Khan, means king, if I remember correctly. Still think the Turtle is one of the New Kids, probably Jordan. I was surprised that the llama turned out to be Drew Carey! He was really not too bad! Certainly didn’t deserve to go home, with the much weaker link of White Tiger still hanging in there. ---

I wonder if the early boots are somewhat fixed. They don’t talk about prize money (only a trophy) and some of the contestants might only be able to commit to a couple of appearances. I got Drew Carey from the “Seattle” and “Sound” clue package. Could the Kangaroo be Sia aka Cousin ITT? A lot of the clues referenced Survivor and she has tangentially been involved with Survivor with her “fan favorite” prize money donation. If it weren’t for Survivor I would never know who she is, so I don’t know her singing voice. ---

Okay, so my guess for the White Tiger is: a very tall deaf person. Seriously, that was bad. But he beat Chaka Khan! Dr. Ken is still the best thing about the show. ---

I don’t know enough about her to glean anything from the clues but I do love me some 'roos and Sia, so here’s hoping. . . ---

White Tiger is very terrible, and yet Chaka Khan had a pretty weak performance this week, comparatively. White Tiger did manage to engage with the audience, and was the last to perform, which I suspect saved him. I still can’t make a credible guess on him. Very low voice, maybe an athlete? Gronk or John Cena is about the best I can do. For one hot minute I was wondering if Kangaroo might be Paris Jackson. The voice doesn’t sound Australian to me. Though Paris Jackson has no children, and I believe one clue revealed that Kangaroo is a mom. ---
