Howdy Y’all! I have spiffed da cave and accomplished laundry. Go Me! Been rainy most of the day but right now the sun is out. Won’t be for long, but I’ll take it while it’s here. Da yahd is becomin’ a jungle (Not **Ruble’s** Jungle)! The yahd at OYKW’s place likewise. Much mowage needs to ensue. ICK! **Bumba** yikes! :eek: Glad wifey is OK enough to go to irk but hope she takes it easy for a least a couple of days. ---

**Bumba** Glad wifey is ok. Did they posit a reason? My mom has it happen on a semi regular basis. She has a gimpy heart valve. Is wifey getting more tests? (Yes, I’m a nag about health issues.) I have taken care of a few bank things for the new house. I may now retire to nap land for a bit. ---

I’m glad your wife is okay **Bumba**. I have to make a note to myself to have the fan blowing outward the next trash day. I added too much salt to the chicken and broccoli, usually I don’t add enough. Ripple says it still tasted good to him. He loves having open windows, he sits on the bench under the window and watches everything going on outside. He is the nosiest dog. He’d love to have the front door open so he could look out but the latch is broken and I don’t trust it to stay shut, as well as the mail person has to open the storm door to put the mail in the slot. ---

Thanks for the well wishes! **Wifey** has an appointment with her regular doc on Thurs. We’ll see what she has to say. I had AFib off and on for a few months after my pacemaker was installed, and then it stopped. Haven’t had an incident for well over 2 years now, so maybe it’ll be the same for **Wifey**. I sure hope so, I’m kinda attached to her. Also the ER nurses looked around and found a coupon or something that would maybe get **Wifey** a month of Xarelto for free. She took it to the pharmacy this morning and yup! Free! 😃 Them ER folks is good people. Hope her doc doesn’t want her to stay on it. It’s over $500/mo regularly. :eek::mad: We have a footstool in front of one of the front windows and Gibbs (the Yorkie) sits there most of the day watching the world go by, and barking at them. ---

Burgers and not-local corn on the cob has been ingested, and the dishes are done. One of the footies on my George Foreman grill is broken - cheap plastic junk. I’ll need to get a little hunk of something in its place so the grease drains. \*\*FCD \*\*got a nice fat purchase order today. Unfortunately, he’s got to get some stuff done for a meeting early tomorrow, so he’s in the basement still, working on his design. Sometimes he’s too dedicated. Then again, that’s why customers are starting to ask for him, so there’s that. Klondike bars later - they were on sale. Yum! Other than that, slothage for the rest of the evening. ---

I checked and the manufacturer does offer a cost savings program, but it is not very good. Many programs will cover the difference between your co-pay and what the insurance pays. This one doesn’t. ---

I’m thinking _line 'em up Noah one more time_ before it’s all over. **sari** , I keep a container (well marked) for shrimp shells in the freezer to make stock with. It makes seafood dishes all the more yummy. I’m glad your wife is OK **bumba**. I hope that she slows down a little though. I’ve been on Xarelto for the past three years since the last clot I threw. Fortunately, my insurance pays all but $30 a month copay. **Moooom** , I’ve found that wine corks fit a lot of things like the little footie thing you lost. If it doesn’t fit exactly, it can be whittled down. Even if you don’t drink, my guess is your sister the bartender could come up with a couple of them. Nelson passed his checkup with flying colors. He was a bit surprised when they performed certain indignities upon him as part of his exam and drew blood. :eek: But he was a good boy. 🙂 The tech even distracted him with one of his favorite treats while he was getting his rabies vaccine: a baby carrot with lots of peanut butter. 😃 ---

**red,** it was wet all day here in the Huntsville area, but the heavy stuff moved just west of us, (looks like the worst in TN is over by Jackson), but it could circle back, so keep an eye on that radar ([New Radar Landing Page](https://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?product=N0R&rid=ohx&loop=yes)) **Bumba,** Wow! Glad Mrs. Bumba is doing OK, hope her doc can come up with alternatives. **FCM,** it sounds like **FCD** needs to go back to work to get some time off… Did some banking and shopping and budget re-calculating and despite my best effort to avoid it, nappage was achieved so we’ll see what hour I end up going to bed tonight. ---
