If they don’t introduce a new dark back story I’m quite pleased with the turn. But it is looking increasingly like this could be the last season so it may not much matter. ---

I notice that Jane was somewhat happier. He smiled and laughed a lot more now that the Red John burden is off his shoulders. ---

I think this happiness will last until the last episode…when Jane is killed by Red John’s “nun”. ---

It seems the team will be Lisbon, Patrick, and Cho. So are you guys basing this on the fact that you’ve seen nothing on that show that’s bringing them into the fold; or have you seen seen something that officially says they’re off the show? Van Pelt is too hot not to be on the show. 🙂 The writers could just be waiting to work them back in at a later time. Oh, and I agree with peedin, I like the interaction between Cho and Rigsby (but otherwise never felt like Rigsby brought much to the show). ---

Rigsby and Van Pelt aren’t gone yet, I’m sure there will be a farewell episode where they get pregnant and quit and move to Canada or something. ---

That would have been pretty cool twist. They were a big enough part of the show to deserve some kind of epic send off. ---

As for their final show, the stories I read say from November when it was revealed they were leaving said their last shows would be in December. One story had Yeomen saying they consult with the FBI as part of their security company. So many there is one more, not sure if Mentalist is done for the December yet.
