The swill we have to suffer with is pretty much only good for killing slugs (though, incidentally, I’ve never gotten that particular trick to work. Perhaps the slugs also realize the beer sucks? As, blowero took the time to specifically complain about her two postings regarding his statement…just thought I’d point out that she’d already mentioned it, therefore maybe it didn’t need to be complained about? _shrugs_ I don’t like the word ‘cunt’ as an insult, it’s a personal thing. Oh, and this is not upset. When I get upset I call people ‘mean’ and other horrible things like that. 😉 ---

Ice in anything and everything libatious. Skim milk, coffee, tomato juice - you name it. Ice magically transforms murky and inchoate to brisk and bracing. Try it, you’ll see. Of course you shouldn’t attempt anything without ample supplies of ice, batteries, and sunscreen. Fuckin A right, Bubba. ---

I worked late tonight and just got in so I thought I’d take a quick peek at the boards. I had no idea the OP was in such a snit in here. Any person reading the sequence of my posts probably realised that I had made a coding error. My acknowledgedment of that very fact would clear it up for all but the most dense or distracted. I did not intend to double post my response to the OP. When I hit preview on the first reply and decided to submit it, the puter froze up, so I hit refresh and the words disappeared. I didn’t get a notice that I would be taken to my post soon and my reply was not there so I thought the post was lost in the refresh. Then I composed the second reply and submitted it. I was suprised to see both posts there. So I even posted another reply saying as much. Is there a doper here who has not done something similar? So that’s my story of how the replies got all screwed up. Now as to the content of my replies. Frankly it struck a raw nerve with me hear yet another person seize the smallest of opportunities to complain about the most minute detail. There has been no shortage of pettiness and whining lately and this just nailed it. Now I admit it was the lamest of pages but still I took the time to compose it so I could post it here on the board for your reading enjoyment. Blowero wrote 2 words of faint praise and 7 words of bitchwhining. It just struck me as really petty. After reading my replies I wondered if maybe I\* was\* being a bit sensitive that maybe Blowero wasn’t really trying to be an asshole. After reading this thread I’ve decided that my initial reaction was the correct one.
