Exactly. I’m not terribly interested in such puzzles, but his enthusiasm was really contagious, and I felt you got a real insight into how his mind works in attacking this puzzle.
I saw this a week or two ago, and I will also chime in, that I couldn’t believe how the 25 minutes just evaporated. I went back to watch a particular step in the deduction afterward (Somewhere with populating the "3"s), and ended up watching a vast majority of it again.
Man, I wish I would have tried to do it myself. Beforehand I thought it would be beyond me so didn’t bother, but I don’t think any of the steps were difficult. Easy to say when just following along, but that seemed like a step below what you tend to see at the end of the week in a newspaper.
His enthusiasm was infectious though and it did not feel like a 25 minute video.
Also, if you look row by row, you’ll note that the sequence of numbers is exactly the same, just rotated from row to row.
