Where was he kissed, then? And I thought she was like a “benediction” that he can’t deny… Not that the song makes much more sense to me with the actual lyrics than the ones in my head. ---

Ok, I’ve thought of some more; From Destiny’s Child “Survivor” album - Nasty Girl “These guys don’t want no Happy meal who’s been around the block female” (Apparently supposed to be “These guys don’t want no hot female who’s been around the block female”. Go figure.) Another vote for “She’s so pop-u-lar” Seal’s “Kiss from a Rose” - I pretty much can’t figure anything out in that song, so I just sing it phonetically. (And I thought it was “a kiss from a rose on the grain”. Which makes as much sense as a kiss from a rose on the grey.) ---

My wife and I are both freaks… Mrs. Tsotset though that Springsteen was saying: **Tent devil in the freezer** (Fifth ave. freeze out) – She has never adequetly explained what the heck that was supposed to mean. Ok, you know the song “Eternal Flame” (it’s been covered by Atomic Kitten and Human Nature, but this one was from the 80’s by someone else) When I was about 4 I thought it was “Spray my name… the sun shines through the rain…” I seriously imagined the girl graffitting a building at that point! And I, too, thought it was “take my picture” rather than something rather explicit about smacking people up. And I’m 15. It was only until I saw it associated with the beating up scene in Charlie’s Angels that it clicked! I’m so naive! And while we’re on the subject of innocence, there is LITTLE funnier than a 5 year old singing “I’m a beach, I’m a lover…” ---

A friend of mine was convinced for years that \*\*Billy Idol’s \*\* **“Eyes Without A Face”** was “how’s about a date?”. What made this even funnier was the fact that she knew the title of the song was “Eyes Without A Face” yet she insisted that the date line was correct.
