Oh, my. The first one was obscure enough that I ought to be ashamed of myself. It’s from what John Singer Sargent said of his famous painting of four little girls, _Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose_: “Damnation silly, silly pose.” Hence: lily - _silly_ - pose The second link was: Eater - _drinker_ - sot I’ll guess yours as: pose - _question_ - answer sot - _drunk_ - disorderly And, linking onward: _answer_ -?- **this** (try saying it out loud, indignantly) _disorderly_ -?- **medal** ---

Initial - _public_ - offering, right? Financial - _accounting?_ - standards, I’d guess. _Errors_ - way back at the start? Yup, that was one. Just to make it harder, **Blonde** , not only do you have to guess the missing link of the preceding poster – you have to devise your own set of words using the previoous poster’s second link word. So not only must you figure out _governor -?- **declare** _ and _collect -?- **house** _; you’ve got to then do your association from **declare** and **house**. No wonder hardly anyone plays this game – it’s a bitch. Even **ETF** , its fiendish founder, is pounding her head at times.
