It’s a nice, crisp morning here in west-central Indiana. They (the NWS) have canceled our Winter Storm Watch, and replaced it with a Winter Storm Warning for tonight and tomorrow. We’re to expect up to 10" of snow, along with a little ice. It’s about time winter _finally_ arrived, considering it’s almost February! I love winter, but all these cold temperatures mean nothing to me…I’ve got to have snow to go with it. ---

Off to work. I must be sleep deprived or something–lately I’ve had the most vivid, weird dreams. Last night’s was all about very small monkeys that we had to buy for a lab class, and incontinent, senile old ladies which were also to be used scientifically somehow. We (the students) had to build cages for the ladies (and I dreamt about cleaning the bathroom for their use–is that pathetic or what?) and buy cages for the very small monkeys (about the size of chihuahuas). I don’t mind the craziness, but it makes waking up a bit disconcerting (to say the least). ---

Warm and humid Tuesday, cold and dry Wednesday, and today we have a front coming through with crazy thunderstorms and maybe _tornadoes!!!_. It’s supposed to be over by lunchtime, though… I totally sucked on the Jeopardy test. 15 seconds is too short to read the question, think of an answer and then type it in. Besides the fact that I didn’t know the answer to most of them. Gotta get busy. Have a nice Firday eve, you guys! ETA: **Soapy** is a perfect nick! Short and [del]sweet[/del] bubbly! ---
