Using first dog + street name, I’m Lady Amuskai. (pronounced uh-MUS-key) Not too musical. Lunch break. \*\*FCD \*\*has a dentist appt at 1 - he developed a toothache over the weekend. I hope the dentist yells at him - he won’t go in for regular checks and cleanings - only when he’s in pain. Yesterday I went to an orchestra rehearsal. I played triangle and gong. Then I went downtown. I saw an exhibit about Nelson Mandela. Then I went to an improv show. It was very funny! today I went downtown and bought some music-related stuff I needed. Maybe I’ll eat some chocolate now. ---

I consider it a win if I can get to the bathroom and back without waking Sah-dog. It’s hard though when he likes to drag his bed right in front of the door. Had to reschedule the inspection _again_, at least this time it’s on the same day just later in the day. The mortgage company wants me to call right after the inspection so they can order the appraisal. If the inspection is bad there won’t be an appraisal. I hope this is the end of the delays. ---

Hmm, Snowy Lache. That sounds more like someone you wouldn’t want to buy a used car from than a porn star. Mind you, given my childhood, I’m not sure what counts as my first pet… Depending on how such things are reckoned, it might be Mizzy Lache, as I clearly can’t be called [un-named goldfish] Lache. The 'lotment is indeed becoming far too overgrown- my strimmer’s broken, and I really need to decide if I should buy a replacement part or just suck it up and get a whole new one. It was never very good or reliable, and is this just throwing good money after bad? Either way, I need to do something fairly soon, or the mess will get me into trouble, and I need to be a terribly good tenant if I’m going to be allowed to get bees. ---

I did not find a food truck today, but yes \*\*Swampy \*\*people do eat food from them! In fact we have one around here called Chirba Chirba Dumpling that has 45 minute to 1 hour wait times if you don’t get to them right when the open up. And they are worth the wait. Steamed dumplings to die for. We have some other really good ones here in the Triangle too. Love me some food truck grub.
