Wacky weather here! Bright sunny sky with loud, and I mean LOUD! thunder. It’s within a mile of here, and the booms are some serious dish rattlers. No rain. 😕 ---

We got the rain, and not far from here, they got nickel-size hail. Not surprisingly, the rain got between the ears of local drivers. The fire house next door has been busy - it seems like their tones have been sounding every 15 minutes. ---

**kanga** sorry about the loss of your cousin. You’re right though about seatbelts. I could not imagine not wearin’ mine. Heh. When I come home and stop to get the mail from my mailbox at the end of the driveway, I automatically buckle up to drive the whole maybe 30 feet into my garage. Dindin was teh num! No brag, just fact. 😃 I called JDD and Partner and invitated them to dindin. Everyone left full and happy. Oh and I did make a peach cobbler. MMMMMM! **gotti** is has clouded up here and thundered in the distance several times this evenin’. So far, no rain. ---

I wanted to shoot the pooch tonight, but unfortunately, the ammo bag had been open to long; mini-marshmallow gun doesn’t work well unless they’re fresh & fluffy. Got him all worked up for nothing - he lovvvvves getting shot with edible things (though not too many as I can’t see them being good for him) **Mom** , thanks for the reminder. The vet thought he was born in late May, so he’ll get a bowl full of MilkBones this weekend. ---

I was puttin’ the smoker back together after cleanin ’ it up. Right off the deck there was a :eek:[pygmy rattlesnake](http://www.vanishingspecies.net/animals/details.php/000059/Pygmy%20Rattlesnake/Sistrurus/Miliarius):eek: right off the deck! Da bear does not tolerate :eek: snakes. :eek: However, da bear butched it up and ran back inside, out through the garage, into the backyard, to the storage buildin’ with the lawnmowers and tools, grabbed a hoe and snuck up behind said :eek: snake :eek: and chopped it in half. :eek: I killded me a deadly, poisonous, had it in for me :eek: snake! :eek: Ok, so there are very few, if any, reported deaths from a :eek: pygmy rattlesnake :eek: bite. Still it was a :eek: snake!!! :eek: I called OYKW and told him in a real panicky state after I killed the :eek: snake. :eek: Heh. He offered to come over and spend the night to calm me down. Believe it or not I told him not to as he was already in bed (WOOF! Bear in bed!) when I called. 😃 I hates :eek: snakes! :eek: However I killded me one. I didn’t panic (ok I panicked) and call somebody to come kill the :eek: snake :eek: like I have in the past. I did it all on my own. Ain’t y’all proud of me? 😃 I shall now attempt to try to go to sleep. Unless a great hoarde of :eek: pygmy rattlesnakes :eek: is now lurkin’ outside waitin’ to extract their revenge.
