Good Morninā€™ Yā€™all! Up and caffienatinā€™. _YAWN_ ā€˜Tis 66 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 90. Never did get any rain yestiddy although it kept threateninā€™ to rain. **Rebo** yay for baby Emma! Sheā€™s so keeeeeeeeyooooote! **Flytrap and Spidey** all snakes are evil. All snakes must be vanquished. I am a weenie when it comes to snakes. Seriously it was all I could do not to leave da cave but I butched it up and killed the sneaky, devious, evil creature bent on my utter destruction. Thatā€™s how I view snakes. **Spidey** I fire up the smoker several times a year for stuff like chikin, ribs, \ boston butts \, and beef roasts. This weekend is Memorial Day in the USofA so I shall smoke ribs on Sattidy. MMMMMMMMā€¦ Itā€™s an all day slow smoke process but the ribs shall be tender and fallin ā€™ off the bone when done. YUM!!! **Rosie** I skipped right over badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badgher, mushroom, mushroom and went right to :eek: snake :eek: when I saw the critter. After it was all over I was singinā€™ badger, badger, mushroom for a while. I meant to link to it last night in my post but I forgot. Iā€™m old. Forgetfulness happens. **StickyBuns** welcome back! I killed a snake. That was my big excitatement. šŸ˜ƒ Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence. Le sigh. Happy Hump Day Yā€™all! ---

Iā€™m sure sheā€™s the second cutest kid Iā€™ve ever seen. Loki The Chickenshit Boxer apparently mixed it up with a wasp last night, because his left eye swelled shut in the course of about 15 minutes after letting him in from his apres puppy chow trip outside. Quick administration of Benadryl had it back open about a half hour later. Actually, I slipped him a dog mickey and he slept most of the night. No dog insomnia for me. I wanted to slap the wife over the sting incident. ā€œWe need to give him one of my epi pens!!!ā€ ā€œNo, we donā€™t.ā€ ā€œWhy not? Heā€™s been stung! Just LOOK at that eye of his!!!ā€ She was coming close to depleting the US quota of exclamation marks. ā€œUnless and until he starts to have breathing issues, epi is not called for. Epinephrine is adrenaline, and I will not deal with a wired dog tonight.ā€ ā€œOh.ā€ :rolleyes: ---

**Swampy** , that was 242 words. I get to to visit the Annapolis Police Dept today and introduce myself to the powers that be so that the local officers wonā€™t be surprised when I start showing up at breaking news scenes.Its a courtesy I try to extend and with a little work it makes everyoneā€™s job a little easier. Of course this is a day after the news broke that [Gary Giordano was arrested for indecent exposure here in Annapolis.](http://www.wusa9.com/news/article/206054/158/Gary-Giordano-Arrested-For-Indecent-Exposure) He is a person of interest in the disappearance of Robyn Gardner in Aruba last year. Good morning, world! \*\*Rebo \*\*- adorable bebeh!! And the best part - when youā€™re tired of having fun with her, you get to give her back!! Congrats!! \*\*Sticky \*\*- welcome back - didja bring us anything?? šŸ˜‰ \*\*swampy \*\*- who knew you were such a wuss? OK, rattlesnakes are not particularly nice, but overall, snakes are cool. Donā€™t be a baby! šŸ˜› \*\*Tugig \*\*- Iā€™ve been following the story about that jerk. And I know the parking garage well - itā€™s one of the few convenient parking places in that part of Annapolis. As I recall, itā€™s a pretty busy parking garage, too. What kind of moron thinks getting nekkid and busy in such a place is a good idea? Too cheap to get a room apparently. And just how does he keep getting wimmins? ick Another not-so-great night. I had a terrible time falling asleep. But Iā€™m up, and shortly, Iā€™ll don appropriate clothing and run to the store before making the batch of pickled veggies for my sweetie. After that, itā€™ll be a dash to the convenience center. Then, who knowsā€¦ The weather is still being weird, so I donā€™t expect to go outside to work today. What I want to do is go back to bed. Iā€™ll be glad when my sweetie gets back home - I donā€™t like living alone. Happy Wednesday anyway. ---

My ex was pathologically terrified of snakes. Even snakeskin boots would give him the willies, and I suspect he has not and never will see any of the _Harry Potter_ movies. Hmmmā€¦ Warner Brothers has a text to Parseltounge translator. Maybe I should send him a me_ssssss_age. ---

I think Iā€™m gonna combine **Swampy** & **Mom** ā€™s ideas for this weekendā€¦get pickled while I smoke sumpinā€™! šŸ˜ƒ I learned to smoke from a neighbor from Texas. Heā€™d make beer-can chicken - new (1/2) can for the bird to sit on every 1/2 hr (by drinking the first 1/2) + 1-2 beers while watching the smoke rise = 3-4 beers/hr for a bunch of hrs = pickled Texan! ---

I HAVE A JOB!!! A REAL JOB!!! A FUTURE PROFESSION HELPING JOB!!! In other words, I am now an employee of the Southbridge Veterinary Hospital!! I start tomorrow at noon! Iā€™ll be starting out on the desk, answering phones and entering appointments, selling heartguard and frontline. As I get comfortable in that, Iā€™ll start helping out in the exam room by holding animals, weighing them, and various other unskilled labor. The best part is that Dr. Kris said that as time allows, sheā€™ll teach me about the things she looks at in the microscope which ties directly into my Pathobiology major! I have the job for the summer, starting at 25 - 30 hours per week, more if I want them as I get used to the job. Sheā€™s trying to find a long term good fit employee to do the job so if she finds one, Iā€™ll basically fill in when needed. Then after school starts if she still needs a part time helper, Iā€™ll cover Saturdays and whenever Iā€™m on vacation. Iā€™m so excited! I canā€™t wait for tomorrow! Not only will I make enough money to get my textbooks without worrying about my financial aid covering them, Iā€™ll be able to pay for the annoying Y membership for the pool use. The best part is that this will look awesome on a resume after I finish my degree and start looking for work in the animal disease world. ---
